On Wednesday, ILLUMUS employees joined forces with other volunteers at A Gift for Teaching’s annual Great Big Backpack Build backpack event – working together to prepare an incredible 25,000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies for students across Central Florida.

As part of our ongoing ILLUMUS Inspires initiative, our team proudly stepped up to support local students as they head into a new school year. ILLUMUS was one of 36 corporate teams and over 500 volunteers that joined forces with one goal: to ensure that every child has the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

The backpacks filled with supplies will be delivered to 140 schools in Orange County and Osceola County public schools to encourage students to kick off the school year with excitement and confidence. From notebooks and pencils to folders and crayons, each backpack packed represents a brighter future for a local student.

We’re proud to be part of a mission that goes beyond the workplace, and we are so grateful to organizations like A Gift for Teaching that enable us to make a difference for the next generation. We are looking forward to continuing to give back through ILLUMUS Inspires with initiatives like this in the future!
